When the Delaware Office of Early Learning received a grant to raise awareness of the importance of early childhood education, Ranie was instrumental in building the organization from the ground up.
She not only helped develop marketing and promotional materials but also identified and recruited influential, statewide community members to serve on the Commission on Early Education and the Economy.
Paul Harrell, Director of Public Private Partnerships for the Delaware Office of Early Learning, says it’s amazing how many contacts Ranie has developed in Delaware since she moved there in 2010.
“Ranie is a remarkable individual. We couldn’t have formed the commission without her. She also really took the bull by the horns to formulate a marketing plan and spearhead our public efforts—from public relations to brochures to presentations,” Harrell says. “Her confidence, organizational skills, and ability to listen really set her apart.”
As a result of Ranie’s guidance and strategic planning, the organization is well positioned to appeal to the Delaware legislature for continuing to support early childhood education in the future.
